Paul Sunderhaus, D.P.M. obtained his undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Ohio, followed by
podiatry school at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He was active duty in the
U.S. Army for several years, and was Chief of Podiatry at Fort Polk prior to joining Mid State. Dr.
Sunderhaus is Board Eligible by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a member of the Louisiana
Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Sunderhaus has been part of Mid State since 1998. His specialty interests are conditions of the
feet, the diabetic foot, and foot trauma. Dr. Sunderhaus enjoys spending his free time with his
wife Mary Kay and children Jessica and Gillian. He also enjoys sporting events and music.
