Mark Dodson, M.D. obtained his undergraduate degree at Louisiana College, followed by medical school
at the University of Tennessee. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Oschner Foundation in
New Orleans. Dr. Dodson is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and completed re-certification in 2005.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the Rapides Parish Medical
Society, and a member of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Dodson has been a Mid State partner since 1997. His special interests include injuries of the
hand and wrist, hip and knee replacements, and orthopaedic trauma.
Dr. Dodson is married and has three children. He enjoys spending
his free time with his family, gardening, and playing golf.
