Christus St. Frances Cabrini (Cabrini), Louisiana Physical Therapy (LAPT), and Rehabilitation Specialists.
Together, we provide an exceptional team of sports medicine professionals
offering comprehensive care to athletes and individuals with active lifestyles.
We collaborate with Christus Health Central Louisiana, striving to provide
quality, compassionate health care services in a healing environment. As
talented, dedicated and professional people, we share a responsibility to
deliver the highest quality patient care.
Our Sports Medicine Program is designed to prevent, recognize and treat
sports-related injuries using education, training, conditioning and rehabilitation
techniques. We are committed to working with school and community programs
by providing:
- CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINERS. Christus Louisiana Sports Medicine
at Cabrini (LSMC) provides local high schools with Athletic Trainers,
available everyday to assist student athletes and coaches.
- LOCAL PHYSICAL DAY. Mid State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Center
sets up Physical Days annually for local high schools, providing physicals,
at no cost, for all student athletes, and other special student activity
teams.
- LOCAL PHYSICIAN CLINIC. Mid State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
Center provides comprehensive services in our Alexandria offices, and
also provides weekly orthopaedic clinics in Jena, Marksville and Natchitoches. Additionally,
a Saturday Morning Injury Clinic is provided at the Alexadria location during football season, opening
at 8:30 am to see any student athlete.
- PROFESSIONALS ONSITE. During football season, Mid State Orthopaedics
& Sports Medicine Center helps provide and coordinate on-site coverage
from a member of our sports medicine team.
